How we collect, use, and protect your information on Radiocast.net.

Last updated: June 2, 2026

We don’t sell personal information

We disclose data only to service providers that help us run Radiocast (listed below). We do not sell listener profiles, resell audience data, or run third-party ad networks on the site.

Control your data

Access, correct, or delete your data by contacting support.

Security-minded

We apply reasonable safeguards; no method is 100% secure.

Global standards

We address GDPR/EEA and U.S. privacy requirements where applicable.

Who we are

The website located at https://radiocast.net (the "Website") and all products, services, features, content, applications, and technologies provided through it (the "Service") are operated by Radiocast ("Radiocast", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with the Website and Service.

Commitment to your privacy

We take care of your personal data and aim to maintain its confidentiality and security. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Personal information we collect

We collect information that you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use the Website and Service. The categories include:

  • Account and Profile Information: name, display name, email, usernames (e.g., Discord), and preferences.
  • Content and Usage: stations you create or follow, chat messages, interactions, logs, and settings.
  • Device and Technical Data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, time zone, language, and diagnostic data.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: identifiers that enable functionality and optional analytics. See Cookies below.
  • Payment and billing records: card payments run through Stripe; full card numbers are handled only by Stripe and never pass through Radiocast application servers. Names, postal addresses, email, company details where you provide them, and related invoice metadata may be stored on our FOSSBilling-based billing portal (billing.radiocast.net) and in Stripe as needed to charge and manage your purchases.
  • Communications: your messages to support and your preferences.

Why we process your data

We process data to operate and improve the Service, including to authenticate users, provide features (e.g., station hosting, directory discovery, chat, and optional analytics), secure the Service, comply with law, prevent abuse, and communicate with you.

Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK): performance of a contract; legitimate interests (e.g., product improvement, security); consent (e.g., non-essential cookies, marketing); and compliance with legal obligations.

Listening and broadcaster data

When you listen to a station or operate one on Radiocast, we process technical data needed to deliver audio (for example, IP address, device and browser type, stream requests, and error logs). We use this information to operate streams, enforce plan limits such as concurrent listener caps, prevent abuse, and keep the platform reliable.

What we do not do with listener data: We do not package or sell detailed listener profiles to advertisers or data brokers. We do not use listening analytics to impose surprise usage overages or hidden metering charges beyond the listener limits described in your hosting plan.

Station owners may see aggregate or operational metrics related to their stations. Public station pages may show disclosures the owner enables (for example, explicit-content warnings or AI-generated music transparency badges).

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • The right to be informed
  • The right of access
  • The right to rectification
  • The right to erasure
  • The right to restrict processing
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to object
  • Rights in relation to automated decision-making and profiling

To exercise these rights or to appeal a decision, contact us using the information below.

Credit-based banner placements and in-stream promotional tools may be offered from time to time; when paused or unavailable, no on-site ads are shown. We do not use listener analytics to resell audience data or to bill surprise usage overages.
