Radiocast Station Guidelines

Our guidelines help keep Radiocast a safe, welcoming, and high‑quality platform for all listeners and creators.

All station owners must adhere to the following guidelines. Non‑compliance may result in penalties, including suspension or deletion of your station.

Section A: Restrictions on Obscenities

Explicit Content Flagging

  • Mandatory Flagging: Any station that plays songs or hosts programs containing profane language, heavily sexually suggestive dialogue, or sexual innuendo must be flagged as "explicit" using Radiocast's built‑in tools.
  • Consequences: Stations flagged as explicit will display an alert before playback.

Prohibited Offensive Content

Content that most reasonable people would classify as overly aggressive or offensive is strictly prohibited.

Examples: Use of racially derogatory language (e.g., the N‑word with the -er ending) or other hate‑inciting terminology.

Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech

Any content that promotes hate, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic is prohibited.

Such content will be removed. Repeated or egregious violations may lead to permanent station suspension or deletion.

Additional Content Standards

  • Context Matters: Even if certain language is used in a historical or artistic context, station owners are responsible for ensuring that its use does not promote hate or discrimination.
  • Community Feedback: We encourage our community to report concerning content. Reports are reviewed promptly by our moderation team.

Section C: Additional Responsibilities and Compliance

Legal Compliance

  • Regulatory Adherence: All content and broadcasts must comply with local, state, national, and international laws, including copyright and defamation laws.
  • Third‑Party Rights: Ensure you have proper licenses or permissions for all content broadcasted.

Content Accountability

  • Owner Responsibility: Station owners are fully accountable for the content broadcast on their station.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of content sources and licensing agreements; we may request them during compliance audits.

Reporting Violations

  • Community Reporting: Use Radiocast's reporting tools to flag violations or concerning content.
  • Internal Review: Our moderation team reviews reports and takes appropriate action, including content removal or station suspension.

Policy Updates

  • Notification of Changes: These guidelines may be updated periodically. Station owners must stay informed.
  • Continued Compliance: Continued use of Radiocast services constitutes acceptance of updates.

Section D: Enforcement, Penalties, and Appeals

Monitoring and Auditing

  • Active Monitoring: Radiocast may monitor broadcasts for compliance.
  • Random Audits: Periodic audits may be conducted without prior notice.

Violation Consequences

Depending on nature and frequency, actions may include:

  • Immediate removal of offending content
  • Radiocast moderation strike
  • Monetization suspension
  • Temporary suspension or permanent deletion of the station
  • Legal action for severe or repeated violations

Appeals Process

  • Right to Appeal: Station owners may appeal enforcement decisions they believe to be in error.
  • Submission Guidelines: Submit appeals via the designated support portal with relevant details and supporting documentation.
  • Final Decision: Our compliance team reviews appeals. Final decisions are binding.

Dispute Resolution

  • Mediation and arbitration may apply as outlined in our Terms of Service.
  • Failure to contest a decision within the prescribed timeframe constitutes acceptance of the penalty.

Section E: Intellectual Property, Privacy, and Data Security

Intellectual Property
